Using a Braille Font
You may download a variety of free braille fonts from Mathspeak.
We suggest gh Sim Braille One. This font will make braille characters that look like those on the alphabet chart.
Writing braille with a computer keyboard is a little like writing any language that has its own symbols. In the case of a braille font, special braille symbols take the place of some of the keyboard characters.
For instance, the braille number 1 requires two braille cells. It is made by typing #a on the keyboard. The computer keyboard numbers are reserved for other braille symbols.
