Academic School Year

The Louis Braille School serves children from kindergarten through grade twelve. Any child who needs adaptations because of a vision impairment is invited to apply for enrollment in the Louis Braille School.

Each child is considered on an individual basis to determine if the program is appropriate to meet his or her needs.

Financial

Tuition fees are charged. Financial assistance is available.

Donations may be made to the Louis Braille School to assist with tuition for children whose families are unable to pay the full amount. Donations are tax-deductible and are greatly appreciated. The Louis Braille School is a Washington nonprofit organization and has tax exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code.

Non-discrimination Policy

The Louis Braille School admits students of any race, color, nationality, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, nationality, and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, financial aid program, and other school-administered programs.
