A Beacon of Light

Picture of Arlo with the lighthouse he gave to the Louis Braille SchoolA brightly painted lighthouse, symbol of safe passage through stormy waters, greets all who enter the Louis Braille School.

Made by Arlo Rockney, the old-time wooden lighthouse stands 3 1/2 feet high, sports two balconies, and is fitted with a flashing light in its tower window. Even those with very low vision can sense the pulsing of the light.

What a wonderful gift this is for our students as we help them seek still waters through which to plot their courses!
