A Beacon of Light
A brightly painted lighthouse, symbol of safe passage through stormy waters, greets all who enter the Louis Braille School.
Made by Arlo Rockney, the old-time wooden lighthouse stands 3 1/2 feet high, sports two balconies, and is fitted with a flashing light in its tower window. Even those with very low vision can sense the pulsing of the light.
What a wonderful gift this is for our students as we help them seek still waters through which to plot their courses!
