Wish List

If you trace our wishes to their starting points, you’ll see everything begins with a desire to teach the children in ways to help them learn, have fun, and live full lives.

You can make a wish come true by directly donating items or by sending us a financial contribution and we will make the purchase.

We will send a picture to everyone who makes a wish come true, and you will see the place your contribution takes at the Louis Braille School.

Wishes That Came True

Our heart-felt thanks to:

Zora for construction paper, glue sticks, and glitter, and three bright red soccer balls with bells in them.

Julie for Rit dye for tie-dying Braille Camp T-shirts.

Christine for a super, duper punching bag, 18 cans of Barbasol for summer camp shaving cream art, and rubber bands for the camp T-shirt tie-dye project.

Those special people who provided Braille Camp scholarships.

Special friends, both old and new, who donated a great quantity of items for our garage sale.

Here’s What We Wish for Now

Art Supplies
Foam sheets of any size or color. Shapes cut from foam sheets make good tactile illustrations.

Video Camera
There are wonderful experiences taking place at the school virtually each day. We would like to share some of them with parents and friends of the students and with supporters of the school.

With video cameras available for much less money than they sold for a few years ago, perhaps you’d like to purchase a new, economy class version and donate it. Maybe you’ve upgraded to a more versatile video camera and can give us your older one. What a great way to help people learn more about the Louis Braille School for years to come!

Campbell’s Labels for Education

Please mail or bring to the Louis Braille School “Labels for Education” proofs of purchase from Campbell’s products.

Look for Campbell’s Labels for Education logo on the product packaging. We need the bar code and the logo; for beverages we need the bottle cap.

Points accumulate to the school’s credit. When we have enough points, we can select from a wide array of educational items from a colorful on-line catalog.

Some of the products eligible for redemption include: Campbell’s soups, SpaghettiOs, Prego, Swanson, Pepperidge Farm, and V8.

See www.labelsforeducation.com for more information about Campbell’s Labels for Education program and a list of the many qualifying products.
