Giving

The act of helping another person to live a full and satisfying life brings greater fullness and satisfaction to our own lives. By giving to the Louis Braille School, you help children learn to help themselves and then they, in turn, can help others.

There are various ways for you to support the school. Some people give of their labor, some give of their time, some give material gifts, and some give a financial contribution.

Whichever form of support you choose to give will contribute to positive and dramatic changes in the lives of the children.

Through consistent and positive reinforcement, the Louis Braille School staff strives to make each moment an opportunity for success.

A student learning to read was repeatedly encouraged with a verbal “awesome.” The young boy happily exclaimed, “Lots of ‘awesomes’ are coming at me today!”

“Awesome” is what we say every time we receive a gift of your time, expertise, material goods, or funds. Learn how you can donate or volunteer and help provide a quality education for our very special children.
